Cherry Rhubarb Pie
We had a pleasant time tonight at the Newton Open Studios party.
I picked up some rhubarb and some cherries at the market today and in return, received compliments for this tasty pie:
Something new: Crisco Butter Shortening Sticks. I like Crisco's Butter Shortening, but have not found it on the store shelves lately. Butter Shortening seems to add a little richness in taste and in color to the crust.
