The WiPPs (Witness Protection Program) in the Open division invited me to join in August to add another body as the season wound down. Still feeling the after effects of last week's effort in the BUDA Summer Hat, I played only on Saturday of the two day tourny.
We played three games on Saturday and were pretty ineffective. The competition took us to school (oh, if only we could get a passing grade!), punishing our turnovers.
But it was a pretty pleasant day at Devens. We had a three hour bye between our 2nd and 3rd games, giving me the opportunity to wander the sidelines. Ran into a lot of players from teams from the recent and the long ago past.
