Jordi & Jen hosted Thanksgiving this year. We had a delightful dinner with good food and good company. A feast for the palate as well as the eyes.
And what would a holiday be without pie? I threw together two pies from recipes from last Wednesday's Boston Globe: apple crumb pie and porter pecan pie.
Cassie was curious about my photography efforts. In the apple pie popup pic you can see her honing the same skills she uses in mousing to track down the wiley dessert. The pie was rescued in the nick o' time.
After dining with Jen & Jordi, we took the pies to join our friend Carolyn and her family for coffee, dessert, and visiting. Life is good. We truly have much for which to be thankful.
