On Mothers Day we got going early for breakfast at Sound Bites in Ball Square. Well, early, but maybe not early enough as the line there kept us waiting for a bit. That gave Jen a chance to say 'hi' to some other mothers and kids and dads she knows who were also out.
From there, we went to the Franklin Park Zoo. Jen, Josie, and Jordi are all big zoo fans. It was a nice sunny day, but just a bit on the cool side. This kept some of the animals (giraffes) in their barns, but it does keep the big cats a little more active (not the lion).
We all enjoyed the day, although Jen might have appreciated a Mothers Day nap from Josie, who, now she has turned two, seems to have outgrown the habit.
